Sorry about being late with getting this up but I've been busy at the shop getting ready for this season.
I'll be running the licensing clinics at Heartland Park again this year. Cost is $175 if you preregister or $200 at the gate. For that you will get extensive track time running typically about seven sessions on the track. You'll be in the classroom between each track session and then there will be a mock race at the end of the day which is designed to introduce you to how a race starts and runs. Upon satisfactory completion you will be eligible to take out a CCS license and race that same weekend. The purpose of the school is not to tell you how to drop 5 seconds on your lap time but to make you well acquainted with the rules and class structure, to give you a good understanding of how to successfully and safely navigate a race weekend and to make sure that you understand the start procedure and flag communication.
The schools will be run on the race practice days that immediately precede each race weekend at HPT (please note that these practice days are only open to licensed racers or licensing clinic students).

Friday April 23
Saturday July 10
Saturday September 4
