Hopkins in AMA Superbike

Hopkins will race in the ama this year .. might just make for some good racing in superbike.. I think Hayes will be the man to beat, but Hopkins could put on a good show too.

anyone else been following whos racing what this year?

I do.  I'm not quite sure I understanding all of the deals and signings at any level or series (AMA, WSBK, WSS, MotoGP, BSB, etc) but it always gives us something to talk about.

I actually think that things are looking up for the ama series this year.. even with kawasaki and honda gone.  There are some really good riders left to battle it out between all the suzuki and yamaha riders. We've got the battle of the energy drinks all on suzukis(5 riders), a privateer on Maladins 2009 championship bike, 1 duc, 3 yamahas.. with bostrom supported by a casino I could see the outfits coming much like he did in the late 90's..
